Want quicker access to your favorite app content and at-a-glance updates without opening anything? Widgets on iPhone make it easy to personalize your Home Screen, Lock Screen, and Today View with useful info and rich previews. Here’s a complete guide to adding, resizing, and organizing widgets like a pro.

🏠 Add and Edit Widgets on Your Home Screen

  1. Enter Jiggle Mode

    • On the Home Screen, touch and hold a widget, app, or blank space

    • Tap Edit in the top-left corner

  2. Add a Widget

    • Tap Add Widget

    • Browse and choose a widget

    • Swipe to preview different sizes and styles

    • Tap Add Widget again to place it on the screen

  3. Resize and Move Widgets

    • Some widgets can be resized by dragging the corner

    • To rearrange, drag the widget to a new spot

    • Tap Done when finished

🔒 Add Widgets to Your Lock Screen

  1. Touch and hold your Lock Screen

  2. Tap Customize

  3. Choose your Lock Screen and tap Add Widgets

  4. Select widgets like:

    • Calendar

    • Weather

  5. Remove any existing widgets to make space, if needed

  6. Tap Close > Done to save your layout

Now, just tap your Lock Screen to enjoy the new view.

📆 Add Widgets to Today View

  1. Swipe right from the Home Screen or Lock Screen

  2. Touch and hold an empty area or existing widget

  3. Tap Edit > Add Widget

  4. Browse and select your desired widget

  5. Resize or move it as needed

  6. Tap Done to finish
